UPMC Sports Medicine hosted a Triathlon and Endurance Sport Workshop at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex on March 31-April 1, 2017. On Friday evening, a full house of triathletes of every age and skill level gathered to hear from UPMC experts and area professional triathletes. The event continued Saturday morning with workshops highlighting sports performance, bike fit and injury prevention, functional motion, and sports nutrition.
The Workshop was greatly received by the triathlete community. Workshop attendees provided positive feedback for additional workshops in the future.
Dr. Vonda Wright thanks Matt Tinkey for getting the word out and gathering the triathlete community to come to the Lemieux and Trisha Turley for making the organization streamlined and easy for both the speakers and attendees.
